Talk:‘Meteorites in Ireland’

With some examples of the ‘real thing’ for people to see, Matthew Parkes, Geological Curator in the National Museum of Ireland will describe the known, witnessed falls of meteorites in Ireland, and briefly look at meteorites in general and what they can tell us about our solar system. The talk will be for all ages and aimed at a broad audience, with some material for handling included. Take the chance to hold the oldest things on our planet!
